In April, 1990, the Mormon Church introduced a dramatically illustrated temple ceremony. Many of the changes addressed the very issues raised in Mormonism's Temple of Doom, which was originally published in 1987. Gone from the new temple ceremony were the blood oaths, the ridiculing of Protestant pastors, and the infamous "Pay Lay Ale" chant.
Our book no doubt helped induce the changes. This book, along with the work of a host of other Christian ministries forced the Church to either defend or give up the bloody ceremony. I rejoice that Mormonism decided to drop
