Dear Mr. Spencer

I have left the Unitarian Universalist Church and have been searching for another church. I happened upon a Mormon television program and thought I should look into a local church. While searching the internet for a local address I ran across your web page.

I read your online book! Instead of cleaning my house I sat here glued to the monitor! Not only searching out a church I've been searching my own belief system. I'm so glad that Jesus stepped in and revealed your story to me. I have had many questions answered.

You are right about my relationship with Jesus being more important than a religion. The UU's have all but forgotten about Him! I have visited several churches but still haven't found one for myself and my two children.

Bless you and your work!

Yours in Christ

  Susan,

Wow! What a great letter. I will post it on my web site (although I will only use your first name and not your location...for privacy.

I'm so glad we crossed paths via my web site. Praise the Lord. By the way, my daughter lives in Fayetteville. She and her two children are here with us in Boise while her husband is in Afghanistan with the Army.

UU definitely falls outside the boundaries of healthy Christianity. While there is great liberty within the Christian faith, they go too far. Jesus becomes a good man, a great teacher, but He, Himself, says He is the Alpha and Omega. He is the sole author of salvation, and He is the Way, the Truth, and the Life.

So, I am praying that He will reveal Himself to you with greater and greater clarity. I am also praying that you will find a church full of love and great Bible teaching. Man does not live by bread alone, but by the words of life that come from God.

If there are any questions I can answer for you as you journey more deeply into a personal relationship with Jesus, fire away. I'll do the best I can to help.

Again, Praise the Lord.

I am sending you some print info.

Jim
